The Waterloo Ontario Open is built on community, inclusiveness, and growth. Our mission is to create a dance space where everyone — from first-time beginners to seasoned competitors — feels welcomed, supported, and inspired. We believe that West Coast Swing thrives when dancers of all levels share the floor, connect through music, and grow together.

Located in the heart of downtown Kitchener, THEMUSEUM is a vibrant cultural space that blends art, innovation, and community. With its spacious halls, modern atmosphere, and unique character, it offers the perfect setting for a weekend of dancing, learning, and connecting. Just steps from local restaurants, cafés, and hotels, it’s an experience that goes far beyond the dance floor.

Enjoy workshops, competitions, and social dancing on the main floor, private lessons and higher-level workshops on the upper floors. Watch the action from above on any of the three floors.

Keep the energy flowing with a fully staffed bar serving drinks all weekend long. It’s the perfect place to refresh, recharge, and connect with friends between dances.

Our venue is right in downtown Kitchener, surrounded by cafés, restaurants, and local culture. Step outside the dance floor and you’ll find everything you need within walking distance.
